South Africa, 1999 - on Safari
The pictures shown below were taken on our Honeymoon in January and February 1999. The location was Idube Game Reserve in South Africa, which borders the Kruger National Game Reserve. This game reserve is one of the largest in the world - more than four million square miles of national park, with an additional one million square miles of adjacent private game reserves.

Our game drives were in early morning and again in late evening, when the animals began to feed or hunt for water. We were able to view the game from as close as four to six feet - just stay in the vehicle!
