Our
hotel (tree house) in Yap
We stayed at The Pathways Hotel. This was not a
hotel by western standards - it was more of a tree-house, with thatched
roof and perched on stilts.

There were four local tribes on Yap. We visited two of
these, and were fortunate enough to see some native tribal dances.
WWII artifacts
Several WWII battles were fought on Yap, which supported
a Japanese airfield. These pictures include the wreckage of a Japanese
Zero and an anti-aircraft gun.
